Samsung Gravity Smart: A Cheap Messaging Phone

The second handset that will be rolled out a long with the Samsung Exhibit 4G is the Samsung Gravity Smart. The Gravity Smart might fall short of the Exhibit 4G’s specs like Android 2.3 Gingerbread and 3.7-inch display. It will run on Android 2.2 Froyo and has only 3.2-inch screen display. The handset will be available for only $69.99 after a $50 mail-in-rebate and a 2-year contract.

As a messaging phone, the Smart has full Qwerty keyboard that reveals after the phone is slided out to the left. The keyboard is roomy and spaced out that make typing even long sentences is comfortable and easy. If you want texting using touchscreen, you might try Swype technology. Other features include a full HTML browser, a 3-MP camera with a LED flash, a personal organizer, messaging, e-mail, a music player, the usual Google features, and access to apps through the Android Market.
